Our language services play a crucial role in facilitating communication and understanding in various international development projects. We are dedicated to helping organizations bridge language barriers, ensuring that vital information is accessible to communities in need. By providing translation and interpretation services, we have supported numerous initiatives aimed at improving healthcare, education, and social development across the U.S. and the world.
Accessibility of Educational Resources
One of the primary ways the translation industry contributes to children’s education is through the localization of educational materials. Many organizations, both governmental and non-governmental, work tirelessly to create resources aimed at empowering girls through education. These resources include textbooks, online courses, and digital content, which must often be translated into local languages to be effective. By translating these materials, the industry ensures that girls in rural and underserved communities can access quality education tailored to their linguistic and cultural contexts.
Supporting Schools and Educational Institutions
In the United States, we are committed to enhancing educational experiences for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Our collaboration with schools has enabled educators to provide tailored support to students, helping them thrive in an inclusive learning environment. By offering translation services for educational materials and facilitating communication between teachers and non-English speaking families, we aim to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Over the last 30 years we have been assisting a multitude of organizations working in International Development and children education in the U.S. and the world. We also have been providing financial contributions to several schools and educational initiatives, such as Coney Island Prep School in the U.S. see https://coneyislandprep.org/, Un arbre un enfant in Niger see https://1enfant1arbre.org/ and the Educare Fund in Lesotho see https://www.educarefund.org.uk/.

Founder
Educare Fund began life in 1997 when Liphethiso Monica Harris supported one girl in Lesotho with tuition fees so she was able to continue her secondary schooling
Over the next 27 years, friends and family, neighbors and colleagues became involved. By 2006 when Educare Fund was registered with the UK Charity Commission, over 20 girls were receiving support. Today the school cohort numbers 80. The vision from the beginning was to work with families to pay a proportion of the fee so their talented girls could complete their secondary education to improve their future prospects and those of their families and communities. Many of these girls went on to University and are now actively helping other family members succeed. To make a donation, please visit here.
